Bose QuietComfort 35 II Review – We Don’t Sell It, We Review It

It’s now a necessity to have some form of noise-cancelling headphones. Bose has been one of, if not the leaders in the space for years now with its QuietComfort lineup. The Bose QuietComfort 35 II is the latest in the line and improves upon the already great QC35s.

Bose QuietComfort 35 II Review: The Features

1. Excellent design

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II is an update to the original QC35s which were released in 2016. The new headphones have the same great design, comfort, and noise cancelling technology as the originals but with some slight improvements. First off, the Bose QuietComfort 35 II now has Google Assistant built-in. This means that you can control the headphones with your voice without having to take your phone out of your pocket. You can do things like play music, answer phone calls, and get directions.

2. Better battery life than its predecessor

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II also has a slightly better battery life than the originals. Bose claims that the new headphones will last for 20 hours on a single charge with noise cancelling turned on. The original QC35s only lasted for 20 hours with noise cancelling turned off.

3. Powerful noise cancelling abilities

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II is still one of the best noise-cancelling headphones on the market. If you’re looking for a great pair of headphones to travel with, the Bose QuietComfort 35 II is a great option.

What We Liked about Bose QuietComfort 35 II

There are various features that Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones come with that appeal to many people. Bose has a great reputation when it comes to audio quality, and these headphones uphold that reputation. They’re comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and they’re great at cancelling out noise.

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II also has a great design. They fold up nicely into the included carrying case, and they’re small enough to fit in a carry-on bag. Bose has also done a great job with the ear cups. They’re made of soft material that doesn’t irritate your skin, even if you’re wearing them for long periods of time.

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II also has great battery life. Bose claims that the headphones will last for 20 hours on a single charge, and in our testing, they lived up to that claim. We were able to get through a full day of work with the noise cancelling turned on and still had some battery life left at the end of the day.

What We Didn't Like about Bose QuietComfort 35 II

There are a few things that we didn’t like about the Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones. First, they are a bit expensive. They retail for $349, which is on the high end for noise-cancelling headphones. Second, we would have liked to see a more advanced noise-cancelling feature. The Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones do a great job at cancelling out background noise, but they don’t completely block it out. If you’re looking for headphones that will completely block out all noise, you may want to look elsewhere.
